Kaleb Sanders is officially entering his hometown era!
Fresh off an exciting CMA Fest appearance and a whirlwind year that’s seen him release a steady stream of new music, the Red Street Records artist is back with his newest single, “Over My Hometown,” available everywhere today (July 10).
The heartfelt track finds Sanders leaning into his country roots while reflecting on the emotional tug-of-war that comes with chasing big dreams far from the place that made you who you are.
“This song means so much to me. It’s about my favorite place on earth — my home state of Florida,” Sanders shares in a statement. “Working with Jay DeMarcus on the song and shooting the video back home with my friends and family surrounding me was an incredible experience. I hope everyone loves the song as much as we do!”
The release feels like a full-circle moment for the Florida native, who signed with Red Street Records in early 2025 before quickly building momentum with seven singles, including fan favorites “It’s Not You, It’s Me” and “Never Always,” followed by his Reimagined EP earlier this year.
When Celeb Secrets caught up with Sanders backstage at CMA Fest 2026 last month, the singer hinted that “Over My Hometown” was one of the songs he was most excited for fans to hear.
“It’s nonstop new music. I have so many new songs coming out,” he told us exclusively. “I can tell you about the two that are coming out next. They have a very country sound that Jay DeMarcus has helped me produce.”
Without revealing too much at the time, Sanders teased the inspiration behind what fans now know as “Over My Hometown.”
“The first one’s coming out soon. I’m excited about it. I wrote it about my hometown — just the feeling I get when I go back there and how I get so stretched as a person because I want to be with my family, but I have to come here to Nashville to chase my dream,” he explained.

That emotional honesty has become one of Sanders’ biggest strengths as both a songwriter and performer. While each release has explored a different side of his artistry, the rising country singer says this chapter of his career is all about embracing creative freedom.
“As a listener of mine, be flexible with me because I’m just influenced by everything,” Sanders told Celeb Secrets. “It’s gonna bounce around a little bit because I’m just having fun with it, and I’m just going with what I feel.”
It’s a mindset that’s already paying off. Following opening runs with Jay Webb and Erin Kinsey last year, Sanders has spent 2026 on the road supporting Kylie Morgan‘s Healed Cowgirl Tour while also joining select dates with Atlus. Between his growing catalog, high-profile touring opportunities, and standout performance on the CMA Spotlight Stage during CMA Fest, it’s clear Sanders is building momentum with every release.
If “Over My Hometown” is any indication, fans can expect an artist who’s becoming more comfortable than ever blending heartfelt storytelling with the modern country sound that’s quickly becoming his signature.
