Celeb Secrets: Hi Sara! Thank you for chatting with us. First and foremost, congratulations on the release of your debut single “Playboys”. Can you tell us what inspired this song and what you hope listeners take away from it?

Sara Jeihooni: “Thank you for having me and for the support! ‘Playboys’ is really inspired by just past relationships. I think we’ve all dated one or more ‘Playboys’ at some point. Ultimately, I hope the take away for listeners is to always choose yourself.”

CS: What was the process like creating the song? Was this your first time recording and what was that experience like for you?

SJ: “The process was really exciting!  I’ve always been a die hard music girl.  I love music more than anything, so seeing the day where I’m actually in the artist role was surreal.  This was my first record, my first time recording and I’m just really just excited to see my growth.”

CS: The fans seem to love your song! You are celebrating 100,000 streams on Spotify alone, and it’s only been two months!  What has it been like to see the fan reception?

SJ: “It’s wild. Putting out music is just something I’ve always dreamed of… When people write me saying how they can relate to the lyrics, sending me videos of them dancing or singing along, when they tell me they are blasting it on repeat during their workouts, hearing men tell me they have it on repeat haha… it just makes me really happy.  You put everything into your art and you can only hope it is received well.”

CS: Is there more music on the way? What can you tell us about that?

SJ: “Definitely! You can expect more music from me this summer.  The next record will have a much more R&B feel to it. You can follow me on all my socials @sarajeihooni to stay up-to-date.”

CS: We have to ask, what are your thoughts on Shahs of Sunset ending? Anything you’d like to share about that experience?

SJ: “Overall, I think the OGs should be really proud of 9 seasons on air, and that should be celebrated.  As for me, I’m grateful for my experience.  The exposure has opened a lot of doors for me and now I’m just really excited to dive into my music.”

CS: Lastly, we are Celeb Secrets; can you share a secret talent of yours that fans may be surprised to find out?

SJ: “I grew up in Indiana… where we love basketball! I think people would be surprised to know I’m 70% at the 3 – point line!”
