If there’s one thing KATSEYE knows how to do, it’s make an entrance.
Ahead of the release of their highly anticipated EP WILD and feature film KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS, Spotify brought a few hundred of the group’s biggest New York City listeners together for KLUB KATSEYE, an exclusive, one-night-only celebration at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere. And yes, Celeb Secrets was there to take in every glittery, chaotic and very KATSEYE-coded detail.
The iconic venue was transformed into a full-blown KATSEYE universe, complete with immersive activations inspired by the group’s upcoming era. From themed drinks that felt practically designed for an EYEKON’s mood board, a snack bar stocked with sweet treats and even a claw machine that put everyone’s gaming skills to the test, we had plenty to explore before Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel and Yoonchae made their entrance.

With the room packed to the walls and anticipation at an all-time high, KATSEYE finally hit the stage for an intimate showcase that gave fans a first listen — and first look — at what they will expect from the girl group during this new chapter.
Donning gold glitter outfits to perform WILD’s “PINKY UP” and “Animal” as well as fan favorites “Gnarly” and “Gabriela,” it was important to note that band members Sophia Laforteza and Manon Bannerman are currently on promotional breaks to focus on their health, and therefore, were not in attendance.
Among the biggest moments of the night, though, was undoubtedly the debut of “That Way,” which is the fifth track on the standard edition of WILD. Produced by Johnny Goldstein, the confident, flirtatious pop track finds KATSEYE making their expectations in a relationship crystal clear, and hearing it come to life onstage made it immediately known why the song is shaping up to be another standout from the new era.

KATSEYE has spent the past year moving from breakout act to bona fide global pop force. Their BEAUTIFUL CHAOS EP debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200, “Gnarly” became one of their signature songs and the group picked up two GRAMMY nominations before winning all three categories they were nominated in at this year’s American Music Awards.
Now, WILD is poised to continue that momentum.
The EP arrives Friday, August 14 via HYBE x Geffen Records and features “PINKY UP,” “Animal,” “Hootie Frutti,” “Bel Air” and “That Way,” with the Lara Raj written/co-produced song“Unloveu” appearing on the Target-exclusive expanded edition. Additionally, their theatrical event, KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS, begins its limited cinema engagement worldwide today (August 12). In the film, fans get a behind the scenes of the group’s journey into the WILD era, featuring never-before-seen footage, EYEKON fan videos and intimate interviews with the members. They’ll appear at Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields Music Festival later this month and are embarking on their Wildworld Tour in September.
For the fans inside Elsewhere, though, the rollout got a head start. It was a small room for a buzzworthy act with increasingly massive ambitions — and that was precisely what made the night work. KLUB KATSEYE was the ultimate EYEKON playground that not only seemed as a giant love letter to the fandom, but the perfect way to usher in a new, exciting era for the group.
