Logan Alexandra is no stranger to the music industry. The LA-based songstress has been sharing pop gems for a few years now, her videos have gone viral on multiple occasions and she’s even worked alongside artists like Piper Rockelle and SM6.
Now, Alexandra is back with her latest fantasy-laced single, “Daydreaming” and we can’t get enough of it! Touting the song as a “romantic pop song that explores the excitement of imagining a future with your partner,” the new track is inspired by her and her high school sweetheart’s relationship, which has been strong for nearly six years.
“My boyfriend and I have been dating for 6 years. We are high school sweethearts. I remember one of our first dates, at 17 years old, we were already talking about our future. Something like ‘a big house, three kids, dancing in the kitchen, and never falling out of love,’ so now in 2021 I made a song about it,” Alexandra tells Celeb Secrets exclusively.
“I wrote, recorded, and released [‘Daydreaming’] within the span of a year. This makes the song feel current, fresh, and since I am the sole songwriter on the track it makes the song feel even more personal. I love this song and am so excited it’s out into the world.”

Celeb Secrets: Hi Logan! Thanks for catching up with us. Tell us about your new single Daydreaming. What inspired the song and how is it different from your previous releases?
Logan Alexandra: My new release ‘Daydreaming’ is a romantic pop song that explores the excitement of imagining a future with your partner. My boyfriend and I have been dating for 6 years. We are high school sweethearts. I remember one of our first dates, at 17 years old, we were already talking about our future. Something like ‘a big house, three kids, dancing in the kitchen, and never falling out of love,’ so now in 2021 I made a song about it.
Previously to this release I was putting out old songs that had been sitting in my portfolio for years. ‘Daydreaming’ was different because I wrote, recorded, and released it within the span of a year. This makes the song feel current, fresh, and since I am the sole songwriter on the track it makes the song feel even more personal. I love this song and am so excited it’s out into the world.”
CS: What do you hope listeners take away from “Daydreaming” when they listen to it?
LA: “After a year like 2020, I hope ;Daydreaming’ gets people to think about the future and the things they can look forward to. Ultimately, everyone is going to interpret the lyrics in their own way that relates their situation. That’s the beautiful thing about music! It’s crazy that a song I wrote in my bedroom is reaching people all over the world, and inspiring them all in unique and different ways.”
CS: We know in the past you’ve worked with artists like SM6 and Piper Rockelle. Do you have any plans to collaborate with them, or any one new, in the near future?
LA: “I loved working with Piper, The Squad, and SM6 on my music video for my song ‘4 Years.’ I worked with Piper and The Squad again recently to create graphics and videos that play during their tour performances. SO if you see Piper and The Squad on tour; I made those videos playing behind them! I love editing and animating, but I’m sure there will be more music related collaborations with them and other artists in the future!”
CS: What advice can you share with new creators who want to start sharing content to TikTok or YouTube?
LA: “Always be learning new skills, try to grow everyday, be confident, and be consistent!”
CS: Lastly, since we are Celeb Secrets, we wanted to know if you could share any secret talents with us?
LA: “I do have a secret talent I’ve never shared! Ever since I was a kid I’ve known how to do a belly roll like a hula dancer. No idea where I learned it or maybe I was born with this (secret) talent!”
