Music’s biggest and boldest women are getting the flowers they deserve!

The highly-anticipated 2025 Billboard Women in Music event is back, celebrating the powerhouse artists who are shaking up the industry and redefining the game. Hosted by Emmy® nominee Laverne Cox, this year’s star-studded ceremony is set to take place on March 29 at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles — and trust us, you won’t want to miss it.

Who’s Being Honored? Billboard just dropped the full list of this year’s honorees, and it’s a lineup packed with icons, chart-toppers, and future legends. From aespa taking home “Group of the Year” to Erykah Badu securing the prestigious “Icon Award,” these women have been putting in the work and making major waves.

Here’s the full list of honorees:

  • aespa – Group of the Year: The K-pop queens continue to dominate globally, and their genre-blending sound is shaping the future of music.
  • Ángela Aguilar – Breakthrough Award: A rising force in Latin music, Aguilar is proving that tradition and innovation go hand in hand.
  • Erykah Badu – Icon Award: The legendary neo-soul queen whose influence spans decades is receiving her well-earned flowers.
  • GloRilla – Powerhouse Award: With back-to-back bangers and undeniable energy, GloRilla is cementing herself as a rap heavyweight.
  • Gracie Abrams – Songwriter of the Year: From deeply personal lyrics to unforgettable melodies, Abrams’ songwriting is next-level.
  • JENNIE – Global Force Award: BLACKPINK’s it-girl is making her mark as a solo artist while continuing her reign as a global fashion and music icon.
  • Megan Moroney – Rulebreaker Award: Blending country with her signature “emo cowgirl” aesthetic, Moroney is rewriting the rulebook.
  • Meghan Trainor – Hitmaker Award: From “All About That Bass” to her latest hits, Trainor keeps delivering bop after bop.
