Alex Hall Makes His Podium Finishes at X Games Aspen 2026 Look Easy After Throwing Big Tricks in Snowy Conditions

Alex Hall is officially in his golden era, and his performance at X Games Aspen 2026 just proved it.

The 12-time X Games medalist and Team USA freestyle skiing icon delivered one of the most feel-good performances of the weekend on Saturday (January 24) in Aspen, turning unpredictable weather, format changes, and a packed competition schedule into a double-medal moment that had fans cheering from start to finish. And if that wasn’t enough? He’s heading straight from the Colorado Rocky Mountains to the world stage as he prepares to compete in the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympic Winter Games.

Day two of X Games Aspen started with uncertainty as snowstorms delayed competition and had athletes waiting around for hours to see if events would even run. But once the Jeep Men’s Ski Slopestyle Final finally got underway, Hall delivered when it mattered most, earning bronze in a stacked field that included Olympic medalists and X Games icons alike.

Still, the day wasn’t done giving Hall its plot twists.

“This morning we were waiting for a long time — honestly didn’t think we were gonna go, and then we went, didn’t go… then ended up going, and then we had like an hour and a half to chill before this and then did this,” Hall told Celeb Secrets host Juliet Schroder with a laugh. “So it’s been a crazy day.”

Despite the chaos — and a full competition week already behind him — Hall said the conditions actually worked in his favor.

“I was tired, honestly, coming into today. It’s been a long week, but the new snow makes it soft and so fun, so pretty excited all day,” he shared.

But while Slopestyle set the tone, Men’s Ski Knuckle Huck is where Hall fully reminded everyone why he’s one of the most stylish skiers in the game.

The fan-favorite 20-minute jam session that’s judged on overall impression, creativity, and flow turned into a masterclass in control, originality, and swagger as Hall threw down trick after trick off the knuckle. His standout moments included a switch right tail butter rodeo safety and a buttery left 900 nose grab, both earning massive crowd reactions.

By the end of the session, Hall clinched gold, marking his third Knuckle Huck win and 13th X Games medal overall, making him the first skier in history to win the event three times.

Safe to say? Knuckle Huck has officially met its king.

“I’m stoked. It’s always so cool to get another X Games medal, let alone a gold medal,” Hall told us. “And I love Knuckle Huck. I think it’s such a cool event. You can kind of do whatever you feel like doing and have some fun, so [I] couldn’t be more happy.”

That joy showed in every trick — loose, confident, and totally in his element — making his run one of the most rewatchable moments of the weekend.

As if double medals weren’t enough, Hall is now shifting gears toward one of the biggest stages in sports: the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympics, where he’ll arrive as the defending Olympic gold medalist in men’s slopestyle and a three-time Olympian for Team USA.

But don’t expect him to approach it with pressure. Instead, he’s keeping the vibes exactly where they’ve been all season: light, grateful, and excited.

“I’m so stoked. It’s coming up so soon, it’s crazy,” Hall told Celeb Secrets ahead of his Olympics appearance. “I think I go home for like three days then head out, so it’s gonna be a whirlwind, but I’m going over there with a bunch of my really good friends, so I’m just gonna have a good time.”

Between podium finishes in Slopestyle, a historic Knuckle Huck win, and Olympic dreams officially loading, Alex Hall didn’t just show up to X Games Aspen 2026 — he owned it. And if this weekend was any preview of what’s coming next, the world better buckle up — because Alex Hall isn’t defending anything… he’s just getting started.
