The New York Giants magical season continues, led by superstar running back Saquon Barkley and first-year head coach Brian Daboll; the Giants picked up their seventh win by defeating the Houston Texans 24-16 to move to 7-2 on the season.

Their heavy run game led Barkley and the Giants offense as Barkley finished the game with 152 yards on 35 carries and a touchdown; also joining the touchdown club were wideout Darius Slayton and tight end Lawrence Cager who were both on the receiving end of touchdown passes by Daniel Jones who threw for 197 and ran for 24 yards in the Giants week ten victory.
On the defensive side of the ball for the G-Men, defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence had an outstanding outing in this one as he finished with five quarterback hits on Davis Mills, also adding a sack. Joining Lawrence was second-year defensive back Jason Pinnock who had a sack and a half with two quarterback hits.
This is yet another case of a team with a rookie head coach taking the NFL by storm as Daboll and the Giants sit at 7-2, O’Connell and the Vikings sit at 8-1, and McDaniel and the Dolphins sit at 7-3 on the season. Much credit should be given to Daboll for the quick turnaround he has done in New York after several miserable seasons for the Giants.
The Giants will look to keep things rolling in week eleven at home against the Lions.
As for Houston, their tough season continues as they fall to 1-7-1 and will look to bounce back in week eleven at home against the Commanders.
