Are you ready to find out what Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes did last summer?
It’s no surprise that these two have been spending plenty of time together and now we’re finally getting a taste of what they’ve been cooking up! The duo took to their Twitter accounts (@ShawnMendes @camilacabello97) to reveal their new duet song. The track is called “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and even though the title sounds a tad bit creepy, the series of Instagram snippets (thanks to my bae Shawn) prove that it’s definitely worth all the excitement. In one of the teasers, Cabello and Mendes are wandering through an ominous blizzard in the middle of what looks to be a desolate wasteland. Then in another clip, we see Shawn getting quite emotional for some reason — maybe because the poor kid is drenched from head to toe? Just a guess.
But besides the interesting teasers, it’s the music that captures our attention. With Camila’s impeccable vocal range and Shawn’s signature guitar riffs, we can already tell this track will easily be one of our 2015 faves.
“I Know What You Did Last Summer” will officially be dropped on Wednesday (Nov. 18). The track will also be the leading single off Shawn’s latest project Handwritten Revisited. We can’t wait to hear it!
