as1one Open Up About Peace, Pop, and Their Mission as the First Israeli-Palestinian Boy Band with New Single “Together As One” (Exclusive)

In a world that often feels divided, as1one is showing us how to come together — literally. The first-ever Israeli-Palestinian boy band just dropped their newest single “Together As One,” and it’s more than a feel-good bop — it’s a message.

The track, produced by Oak Felder and lil aaron, blends addictive pop melodies with global influence and an undeniable sense of purpose. From the very first beat, it’s clear: this isn’t just a boy band chasing stardom. It’s a movement built on music, brotherhood, and belief in something bigger.

“We should stick together no matter who you are, no matter who we are. There’s always hope — and always something positive waiting for you,” member Ohad Attia shared with Celeb Secrets in our exclusive sit-down.

The band — Aseel Farah, Nadav Philips, Neta Rozenblat, Niv Lin, Ohad Attia, and Sadik Abu Dogosh — formed in 2022 through a visionary collaboration between music execs James Diener and Ken Levitan, and quickly relocated to Los Angeles to train with some of the industry’s biggest names. (Think Nile Rodgers, Jenna Andrews, Justin Tranter — no big deal.) But despite working with hitmakers behind Ariana Grande, BTS, and Beyoncé, it’s their own story that makes as1one a standout.

And they’re not shying away from it. The band’s lineup includes Israeli-Jewish and Palestinian-Arab members, and they arrived in L.A. just one day before the Israel-Hamas war began in 2023. The timing was heavy — but the choice to stay united was even heavier.

“We could’ve gone home. We could’ve given up,” said Ohad. “But we chose to stay together because we understood that our message — and what we’re building — is bigger than anything.”

“Together As One” is the first song the group recorded after the war began. The lyrics feel like a hug, wrapping listeners in resilience and reminding us of the beauty that can bloom in chaos.

“We didn’t want to make something sad,” said Nadav. “We wanted to give people motivation — a reminder that they’re not alone.”

The music video, directed by Marc Klasfeld, matches that energy with sweeping beach visuals and choreography that radiates joy. But it wasn’t all sunsets and soft sand behind the scenes — according to Aseel, things got a little wild.

“We flipped the rover in the sand,” he laughed. “Sadik was driving… maybe a little too much.”

Despite the chaos, the team’s energy never wavered. “Everyone just wanted the video — and the message — to work,” added Nadav. “It was one of the most united moments we’ve felt as a group.”

And that unity shows up in the music too. With its dance-floor-ready beat, layered harmonies, and hints of Middle Eastern flair (producer Oak Felder even drew from his Turkish roots), “Together As One” is both modern and meaningful — a sonic representation of six very different voices singing in sync.

“It’s got all our flair,” said Neta. “There’s Arabic influence, pop vocals, and a universal message. Beyond that? It’s just a really good song.”

as1one’s journey is also documented in their Paramount+ docuseries AS1ONE: THE ISRAELI-PALESTINIAN POP MUSIC JOURNEY, which shows the emotional highs and lows of forming the group, including never-before-seen footage of the “Together As One” studio session.

“That was one of our first sessions after the war started,” said Ohad. “To watch that back… it’s a moment we’ll never forget.”

Next up? A fall tour across the UK and Ireland, with college performances and Q&As aimed at inspiring the next generation.

“We want young people to see that they can choose unity too,” said Niv. “No matter what’s going on around you — you can choose connection.”

And don’t worry — more music is definitely on the way. “We’re working on a full project,” Nadav teased. “Every song is a little piece of who we are — emotionally, culturally, musically.”

“For some of the songs, we usually think of how we’re feeling at this point. How we are looking at each other and feeling from each other and getting the vibes in the room. And sometimes it happens just because of the beat in the background,” Aseel adds.

“We lay on the instrumental and we start to just vibe on it and let it happen. Usually it goes from emotions that we already have from before, and then sometimes it goes to just random thoughts in the middle of nowhere.”

So what’s the secret to as1one’s staying power?

“Honestly? That we’re still here,” said Ohad. “Still together. Still believing in this.”

And in case you’re wondering: yes, they can dance. Yes, they’re hilarious (Neta finally confessed to the mystery dishes in the sink). And yes, Eurovision stans — you’re seen (right, Ohad?).

But more than anything, as1one is proof that pop music can still have purpose — and that even in the darkest times, joy is a radical act.
