Korean-American artist and songwriter Audrey Nuna blurs the lines between pop, R&B, and experimental trap showcasing her declaration of nonconformity.
Her debut album, a liquid breakfast, was an introduction of who she was in that stage of life back in 2021. Now, three years later, Audrey introduces us to her polar opposite side with TRENCH, woven with frustration, anger, and the hardships she dealt with throughout this time.
In celebration of her the new album, Audrey took over The Echo in Los Angeles on Monday (October 28) to perform some of the new material mixed with old crowd favorites. While it’s only been two weeks since TRENCH dropped, the entire audience knew all of the new lyrics word for word.

Audrey took the stage for her first headlining show in three years setting the tone with “Me & My Baby.” The crowd immediately started jumping and dancing, getting ready to party.
But expect the unexpected with Audrey Nuna. She has built a reputation for her out-of-the box approach into everything she does, which she did throughout the night by switching from upbeat experimental trap to powerful, emotional R&B vocals.
While Audrey mostly performed new music from TRENCH, she made sure to include some of our favorites like “Mine,” which samples Brandy’s “The Boy Is Mine,” “Pajamas,” and “Ca$h.” The OG fans weren’t disappointed either, as the 25-year-old made sure to perform some old favorites, “Comic Sans” and “idgaF,” along with a stripped-down version of “Baby Blues.”
Marking a new chapter both sonically and aesthetically, Audrey shows her evolution with new lyrics, tone, experimental beats and ever-changing genres.
If Audrey Nuna is not currently on your radar, she should be. She isn’t afraid to break the rules and push the limits by changing genres mid-song, but also being able to experiment sonically, lyrically, and personally. Nuna let us know she won’t be on stage for a while after this special show, but we can’t wait to see what she does next.
