Awards

Bad Bunny, CNCO, Grupo Firme and Karol G are Amongst the Top Winners at Premio Lo Nuestro

Premio Lo Nuestro was back and in-person last night (February 24) in Miami, FL and all of our favorite Latin artists came to SLAY!

The 34th edition of the world’s longest-running Latin music award show paid tribute to the legend Vicente Fernández and Maluma dedicated the show to him as he introduced Christian Nodal, Camilo, Grupo Firme, David Bisbal, and Ángela Aguilar who performed Chente’s songs.

Other standout moments from the show included a historic number by iconic rockstar Sting, who, from the arena’s rooftop, premiered his new song “Por Su Amor;” an outstanding rendition of “Caja” from Italian superstar Laura Pausini from Rome; the world premiere of urban superstar Natti Natasha’s “WOW BB,” featuring famous urban artists Chimbala and El Alfa; and the emotional moment of Farruko performing for one last time before his retirement from music to dedicate his life to his religion. Towards the end of the show, he gave a moving speech as his children presented him the award Urban Excellence also presented by the motivational speaker, Daniel Habif.

Bad Bunny was the night’s biggest winner with six Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, including the coveted “Album of the Year.” He was followed by Calibre 50, Camilo, CNCO, Grupo Firme, Karol G, and J Balvin with three each.
