Religiously. The Album. dropped just one day prior to Zimmerman’s performances at the 2023 iHeartCountry Festival, where he was able to debut some of his hot new tracks LIVE at the beloved Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

The 23-year old kicked off the iHeartRadio “We’re All Country” Guitar Pull, performing the project’s title track, “Religiously.” His performance was followed up by female powerhouse Carly Pearce, who performed a song of her own before reconnecting with Zimmerman to sing a duet of her 2017 smash hit, “Every Little Thing.”

After this one-of-a-kind performance, Celeb Secrets host Juliet Schroder ran into Bailey backstage on the red carpet, just moments prior to his second performance of the day.

When asked about the process of creating Religiously. The Album., Zimmerman gushed on the iHeartCountry Festival red carpet, “It was a lot of fun getting to create everything and just be me and sing about what I wanna sing about and write the songs I wanna write.”

“I’ve never done anything like that. That was months and months of writing and writing, years of writing — A lot of fun,” he continued with a smile.

The 23-year-old also revealed to us some of the things he is most proud of throughout both the creation and release process of Religiously. The Album.

“Honestly, I’m really proud of ‘You Don’t Want That Smoke‘ and I didn’t even write it, but I’m really proud of that song, because that song is just incredible,” he spilled.

“I’m proud of the people that were a part of it because we didn’t have a lot of writers on this album. There was a lot of outside cuts, but not a lot of writers, so it was really cool to get to work hand in hand with all the people, so I’m proud of that too.”
