It’s time to lace up those kicks and hit the floor — Red Bull BC One is back, and the 2025 U.S. season is coming in HOT!
The world’s most prestigious one-on-one breaking competition is about to take over, bringing the heat with regional qualifiers, an immersive dance camp, and a high-stakes national championship that will determine who reps the U.S. on the global stage.
Breaking made its jaw-dropping debut on the world’s biggest stage at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and now, the sport’s momentum is unstoppable. Red Bull BC One, which has been elevating breaking culture for over 20 years, is returning stateside with regional cyphers in Minneapolis (March 29) and New York (May 9) before heading to Denver for the USA National Cypher (May 18). The winners will earn the ultimate bragging rights — a shot at competing in the Red Bull BC One World Final in Tokyo on November 9.
Expect nothing but the best as 16 b-boys and 16 b-girls in each qualifier battle through bracket-style rounds, showcasing their unreal musicality, gravity-defying flips, and pure creative fire. But this isn’t just a competition — it’s a movement.
What started as an underground movement in the Bronx has exploded into a worldwide phenomenon, and Japan has been at the forefront of breaking’s evolution. Tokyo, a city that’s home to some of the most innovative b-boys and b-girls on the planet, will set the stage for the next Red Bull BC One World Champion.
“Paris introduced breaking to a whole new audience, and I’m excited for those fans to continue their journey with the sport by following Red Bull BC One,” says two-time Red Bull BC One World Champion and bronze medalist, B-Boy Victor. “For over 20 years, the ultimate title in international breaking has always been the Red Bull BC One World Champion. I can’t wait to see how the next generation steps up to the challenge this year.”
