Becoming a star isn’t an easy process. A lot goes into being the “next big thing,” and E! is giving viewers an inside look behind the curtain in the rise to fame with there new series Raising a F***ing Star.
According to the network, the docuseries follows four families around the country with bigger-than-life parents and their budding stars. With the rise of social media, fame is more accessible than ever, but the competition is steeper. These stage parents will stop at nothing to make their kids the next generation’s biggest name.
Celeb Secrets had the opportunity to sit down with one of the future “stars,” 18-year-old Breanna Bunevacz, who can be described as a “girl next door and supermodel in the making.”
Born and raised in Calabasas, California, Breanna’s journey is spearheaded by her momager Jessica, a former model who left her career in the Philippines to move to the States to become a full-time mom.
Seeing her own story in her daughter, Jessica is determined to guide Breanna toward a successful and lucrative modeling career, which viewers will see throughout the season of Raising A F***ing Star. However, Breanna’s lack of enthusiasm and blasé attitude is holding her back from reaching the next level. With this and a difficult situation that comes with drastic life changes, the 18-year-old and her family must work harder than ever to support one another.
“[My family and] I have the best bond in the world,” Bunevacz tells Celeb Secrets reporter Ilana Epstein in an exclusive interview.

Filmed during her junior year of high school, the 18-year-old reveals that it was her mother who helped her find balance between school, filming and her “me time.”
“When I was filming, it was during my junior year of high school, so I had to miss a lot of school days,” she says.
She also explains that she never told anyone exactly what she was doing, and it was her mother who did an excellent job of making sure that she was balanced between school, filming, and her “me time.”
“There were a lot of tears, drama and funny moments with my family,” Breanna says of her experience on the show.
