Jessica Springsteen is headed to Japan for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics!
The 29-year-old daughter of Bruce Springsteen will represent the United States as a member of Team USA’s Equestrian team, along with her 12-year-old stallion Don Juan van de Donkhoeve.
Jessica earned her place on the team in June and will be joining the showjumping team alongside riders McLain Ward, Laura Kraut, and Kent Farrington.
She took to Instagram to share her excitement about the news on Tuesday (July 6).
“Been dreaming of this since I can remember! Endless gratitude for my team, friends, and family for helping me make this a reality. We are Tokyo-bound!! Honored to be a part of this team with @laurakraut @teamkpf and @mclainward.official. There’s no horse in the world I’d rather be on this journey with, thank you Don! You’re my horse of a lifetime… Let’s go, USA!”

Springsteen has consistently been one of the United State’s top equestrians for years; she was an alternate rider for Team USA at the 2020 Olympic Games, which were postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. She has also represented the United States at the FEI Nations Cup and holds an extensive list of other past credits.
