Camila Cabello Talks About Fifth Harmony’s Breakup In Her New Song “psychofreak” (Listen)

There’s “No Doubt” who Camila Cabello is talking about in her new song.

The 25-year-old singer celebrated the release of her third studio album Familia which dropped earlier today (April 8), and features 12 songs like “Bam Bam (feat. Ed Sheeran)”, “Don’t Go Yet” and her latest single “psychofreak (feat. WILLOW).”

In the song, Cabello can be heard saying the lyrics, “Everybody says they miss the old me, I’ve been on this ride since I was 15,” which is the age in which Cabello was when Fifth Harmony was formed on The X Factor USA in 2012.

“I don’t blame the girls for how it went down, down,” she sang regarding her fallout with her past girl group.

Along with the lyric addressing the girls, she also added in the word “Down” twice which many people are guessing is a dig at the groups first song after Cabello left.

In an interview with Reuters, the singer opened up about her inspiration for the song and that her past bandmates (Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui) are still supporting each other.

“That song is basically about anxiety and all of the different things that have made up like my journey with anxiety and starting off really young in the industry,” Cabello said before explaining where she and the girls stand. “We have been supportive of each other through things like DMs and stuff… I’m in a really good place with them.”
