Do you remember when we introduced you to Mike O‘s project CARDS last year? The indie singer, songwriter, and producer is back with another song this summer and we’re totally diggin’ it!
Written by Mike for CARDS, the song “Periphery” is an alternative pop tune that makes immediately draws you in with a foot-tapping beat and summery vibe. The track ultimately makes us want to jump in the car, roll our windows down, and cruise down the highway with all our friends!
While you may not be familiar with Mike’s original music before, you have definitely heard some of his work, as he’s collaborated with artists including T-Pain, Bad Royale, Wyclef Jean, Happy Sometimes and Ryon’s World. A multi-instrumentalist originally from the Philadelphia area, Mike’s worked as a Jazz guitarist around town and as a touring sideman for Indie-Pop artists before leaving for Brooklyn and ultimately LA.
Make sure to give Mike a follow on Instagram at @cardsmusic and listen to “Periphery” below:
