Carly Rae Jepsen has moved on from old-school phone calls to the simplicity of adorable emojis.

In her new music video for Run Away With Me, the 29-year old songstress concocts a music video that’s unlike anything she (or anyone for that matter) has ever done before. Throughout the video, the audience is given the power to choose what will happen next by simply choosing 1 of 3 emoji options. We, the viewers, are given the ultimate choice of picking the outcome, which is freaking awesome!

In this interactive music video, which happens to be a re-make of the video she released back in July, are video diaries of Jepsen and her mystery man running away together. They are seen in many beautiful places, including France, Japan, and of course New York from a vintage format, much like the one of a super 8 film.

As the video continues, a message from Carly to you, her BFF, appears on the screen. You ask her things like “What did you end up doing yesterday?” and then you choose the next scene, whether it is a new destination, activity, or outfit. Although the variety of emojis will always make the outcome different, the catchy-ness and romantic feel of the track never changes.

Check out the fun, interactive video here.
