Hey CelebSecrets4U readers!
Writer Kennia here. Award Season is officially in session and I have never been more excited! This is like the Super Bowl for me! Movies, television, red carpets, and glam — what more does a girl want?
The first award show of the year was the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards and CelebSecrets4U had the opportunity to attend the NBCUniversal’s Golden Globes Post-Party and red carpet!
The party was held on the rooftop of the gorgeous Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, January 10th. The party included stars from your favorite NBC shows such as Aquarius, Telenovela, and American Ninja Warrior. Other stars in attendance included Eddie Redmayne, Judd Apatow, Taylor Kinney, America Ferrera, and even Leonardo DiCaprio 😍
On the red carpet, I saw so many stars walk by. Some even had their Golden Globe awards in their hands! The cast from NBC’s American Ninja Warrior told me about their favorite moments from the show and what I can expect from their series’ special episode coming soon.
After the red carpet, I headed inside to get our dance on! The party is exactly what you expect it to be — GLAMOROUS!
When you entered the event, there was a beautiful patio with a pool in the middle and was surrounded by palm trees. The party had a DJ, dance floor, drinks, a fun GIF Photo Booth, and champagne party favors.
There were tons of celebrities inside mingling with one another. They were congratulating each other on their wins while having fun and capturing the moments. I even ran into on of our favorite YouTubers Meghan Rienks while on the dance floor — check out our selfie below. She was just as funny as she is online!
The best part of the party? The food. The Golden Globes know what the stars love to eat after a glamorous night; french fries, pizza, mac and cheese, sushi, and of course a soiree of desserts. Let me let you in on a little secret: celebrities got to eat too!
Being able to attend NBCUniversal’s Golden Globes Post Party felt like the moment Cinderella attended the ball. It was elegant, fun, and everything I would have imagined.
Thank NBC for the opportunity of letting me experience what it was like to be a star for a day. It was a dream come true. Until next year Golden Globes!
