Margot Robbie is a Barbie girl living in a Barbie world!
This week, CinemaCon was held in Las Vegas and fans were able to get a first look at the 31-year-old all glammed for her role as, Barbie. Robbie is set to play the character in the upcoming film, Barbie. Robbie was made for this role as she looks stunning in the photo with the iconic blonde hair, blue and white outfit, and of course the pink convertible!
Barbie is also filled with other popular stars including, Ryan Gosling, Kate Mckinnon, America Ferrera, Simu Liu, and Alexandra Shipp. Greta Gerwig, who directed hit films Little Women and Lady Bird, will also take on the directing role for Barbie.

In 2021, Robbie shared her thoughts on taking on the iconic and sometimes controversial character in a British Vogue interview. Robbie stated, “Right, it comes with a lot of baggage! And a lot of nostalgic connections. But with that come a lot of exciting ways to attack it.”
Robbie also spoke about Gerwig in the interview saying, “People generally hear ‘Barbie’ and think, ‘I know what that movie is going to be,’ and then they hear that Greta Gerwig is writing and directing it, and they’re like, ‘Oh well maybe I don’t…”
Warner Brothers shared Barbie will hit theaters July 2023. We are so excited to watch the film!
