Cher is headed to The Garden!
Today (December 5th), iHeartMedia revealed that the iconic singer has been added to the lineup for this year’s Z100’s Jingle Ball on Friday (December 8) at Madison Square Garden in New York City. She joins an already star-studded list of talented performers, including SZA, Olivia Rodrigo, OneRepublic, Sabrina Carpenter, Jelly Roll, Big Time Rush, Pentatonix, Melanie Martinez, David Kushner and Doechii.
The “Believe” pop star released her first holiday album, Christmas, this past October which features collaborations with Stevie Wonder, Darlene Love, Michael Bublé, Tyga and Cyndi Lauper.
Cher told PEOPLE about the album, “I wanted to make a Cher Christmas album, but I didn’t know how to do it. I never could figure out a way. Then this year, I just asked the record company if they would just let me do it, and just hand the finished product over to them, and they were agreeable, so I started picking songs.”
“We did them one at a time.” she continued. “So what I realized is that I have a fun Christmas album that only has a couple of sad songs. I was really happy that it was eclectic, and it’s really eclectic. I was proud of it myself.”

Z100 Jingle Ball is part of the national iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour Presented by Capital One, which kicked off in Tampa on November 26 and has already made stops in Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Detroit. After stopping in New York, the tour will then move to Boston, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and Atlanta before wrapping on December 16th in Miami/Fort Lauderdale. The show will be broadcasted via iHeartRadio’s Hit Nation station and on Z100 on iHeartRadio’s free app on Friday, December 8th beginning at 7pm ET/4pm PT. Fans will also be able to relive some of the best music moments from the holiday season when iHeartRadio Jingle Ball airs on ABC later this month, beginning at 8PM ET/PT on Thursday, December 21. The two-hour TV special, hosted by Ryan Seacrest, will be available for streaming on Hulu the following day.
