Christina Aguilera took her talents to the Hollywood Bowl this weekend (July 16) for an unforgettable performance with the LA Philharmonic.
Kicking things off around 8PM, the Grammy Award-winning artist opened her 70-minute set with a stunning rendition of Etta James’ “At Last,” as she brought a little piece of her Las Vegas Residency (which was interrupted by the Coronavirus pandemic a year and a half ago) to the high-society ball-type concert at the famed venue.
Under conductor Dudamel’s lead, Aguilera’s orchestral versions of her hits like “Ain’t No Other Man,” “What a Girl Wants,” “Fighter,” and “Genie in a Bottle” blew the audience away and even brought a tear to her own eye.
Closing the show with “Fighter,” Aguilera exited the stage, only to quickly re-enter in her elegant black gown for the encore, where sang her ballad “Beautiful” that had the 17,000+ audience members singing the lyrics right back to her.
If you happened to miss the show, a fan posted the entire set on YouTube, which you can watch below.
