CNCO came and conquered at the 2020 MTV VMAs!
Fresh off the release of their brand new single “Beso” on Friday (August 28), the Latin boy band touched down in the Big Apple to represent their genre at the annual award show tonight, which took place in different parts of New York City and beyond.
Performing in front of a live audience at a special drive-in location in Brooklyn, band members Christopher Velez, Zabdiel De Jesus, Richard Camacho, Joel Pimentel and Erick Brian Colon showed off their smooth choreography and high energy stage presence while giving it their all both onstage and on top of cars.

The pinch me moments didn’t stop there. Later on in the show, CNCO was announced the winner for “Best Quarantine Performance,” ultimately beating out heavy weights including Lady Gaga, Post Malone and John Legend. The win marks the first moon person for the band, but definitely not the last. You can view a full list of winners here.
“Beso” has over 3 million streams in its short release time and has received placement on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlists, in the US and 14 other territories, in addition to Latin Pop Hits and Latin Flavor. Furthermore, “Beso” shot straight to #1 on Apple Music’s Latin Songs chart, as well as playlisted on Puro Pop, ¡Dale Play!, New Music Daily and multiple others, as well as trended at #7 worldwide on YouTube on the audio video.
