In honor of the late Christina Grimmie, The Christina Grimmie Foundation is holding an online concert fundraising event featuring special guests who were friends and colleagues of the singer on June 8th, 2021 – nearly five years since the tragic passing of Grimmie.
The live concert event, which will be available for free exclusively on the official concert page, and will be hosted by E! News’ Nightly Pop, Hunter March.
Concert For A Cause will highlight Grimmie’s life and the impact she made on family, friends, and fans everywhere. Long-time friend Tori Kelly, Grimmie’s tourmate Rachel Platten, and her YouTube Family, including Sam Tsui, Tiffany Alvord, and Tyler Ward, are some of the incredible artists who will perform at the event.
“We’re honored to see the amount of support we’ve gotten for this event from so many of the people Christina cherished, respected, and loved and we’re excited to bring this event to Team Grimmie and fans all around the world,” says Grimmie’s brother, Marcus Grimmie.
Along with celebrating the legacy of life, love, and hope that Grimmie encapsulated, Concert For A Cause will also be a fundraiser for the foundation to help support families who have been affected by the product of gun violence. The event will help raise awareness of gun violence, which has increased over the years since Grimmie’s passing.
