Austin & Ally comes to The Paley Center for Media for “Family Night” on Monday evening (May 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The event included a special screening of Austin & Ally and a Q&A panel hosted by Variety’s Elizabeth Wagmeister with cast members Ross Lynch, Laura Marano, Raini Rodriguez, Calum Worthy and co-creators/producers Heath Seifert and Kevin Kopelow.
Now in its fourth season, Austin & Ally centers on the improbable partnership between Austin (Ross Lynch), a musical sensation, and Ally (Laura Marano), a singer-songwriter, and their best friends Trish (Raini Rodriguez) and Dez (Calum Worthy) as they navigate the ups and downs of fame, friendship, and just being teenagers. The series has always had music as its centerpiece, but in season four the cast has also tackled teaching and mentoring young aspiring musicians. It’s a winning premise that has added a new dimension to this multi-camera family comedy packed with heart and laughs.
