Last Sunday (April 2nd), straight from the last stop of Danielle Bradbery‘s A Special Place Tour, Danielle and her tourmate Tiera Kennedy stepped onto the 2023 CMT Music Awards aqua carpet at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.
After beginning in February in Indiana and hitting venues throughout Illinois, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. along the way, the tour concluded with an extra special show in Danielle’s beloved hometown last Saturday (April 1st).
During the big event, Celeb Secrets host Juliet Schroder got ALL of the juicy details surrounding the duo’s experience on the road, as well as what the future holds for the rising country stars.
“I finished [my tour] last night and I was in Austin the night before, so it’s good to be back. My whole family, everybody was there, and it’s just so awesome,” Danielle shared with a smile.
“We had the last night in Houston, and it was so amazing,” opening act Tiera Kennedy added. “I mean, it’s been so fun getting to play new music and just feeling the energy, making new fans. I had a lot of fun. I’m so glad I did it.”
Naturally, being on the road for a few months leads to lifelong memories, especially on a girls only tour!
When asked one of their favorite moments from being on the road, Tiera revealed that “staying up late on the bus and just having some girl time” was so much fun, and Danielle completely agreed.
“We all just hang out on the bus and just have a glass of wine and laugh and just talk about life,” The Voice winner gushed.
While touring was a blast, the budding country stars are happy to be back home with their families (and their furry friends).
Tiera shared with a grin, “I miss my puppies so much, so I am excited to cuddle with them when I get home,” as well as finalize some new music that we are SO excited for.
“We’ve got a new single coming and an album real soon, so I’m so pumped,” Tiera shared. “All of the music is mastered and all done, and now we’re doing all the pictures and stuff, so it will be soon… probably summer.”
