Demi Lovato is starting over and is releasing her highly-anticipated seventh album which will be released on April 2.
Lovato revealed her album titled Dancing With the Devil… The Art of Starting Over during a live stream on Clubhouse, Monday night. This will be her first release since her 2017 album, Tell Me You Love Me.
During the stream, she explained that the original title of the album was just going to be “The Art of Staring Over” but she wanted to reflect on how important her upcoming documentary (Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil) is and decided to give it a double title.
The album will include a total of 19 tracks, three of which Lovato teased include, a female artist collaborator. Her seventh release is “deeply personal” and is executive produced by Lovato and her manager, Scooter Braun.
As mentioned before, Lovato’s latest project will tie in with her four-part documentary series, which will be available to stream on YouTube on March 23. Both the series and the album will explore the journey Lovato has been on since her near-fatal overdose back in 2018.
Her forthcoming album comes after her interview with Ellen DeGeneres where she sported her new hot pink, short haircut and shared how she felt “more free” and “more authentic” to herself. She also recently covered the pages of Glamour magazine for their April issue and came out—stating that she’s “really queer.”
Along with the title and release date, Lovato also shared the album art on Twitter, not including the exclusive covers available on her website.
