Drake partying too hard?
Drake unexpectedly postponed his planned performance at Lollapalooza Brasil 2023 this past weekend, much to the dismay of the crowd. But after being seen partying in Miami the previous night with 50 Cent, the rapper is now receiving backlash.
The annual festival in São Paulo, Brazil, which took place on March 26 – initially had Drake as its headlining act. The day before the event, Lollapalooza Brasil 2023’s organizers released a statement sharing that the singer would not be attending and that Skrillex would take his place.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Drake is without members of his sound and production team, essential for the realization of the Lallapalooza show in Sao Paulo,” said the statement. “Drake was excited to perform for his fans in Brazil. Unfortunately, this is out of his control. Sorry.”
Lollapalooza Brasil also shared that it will be offering refunds due to the cancellation.

Clips of Drake celebrating with 50 Cent the previous night were quickly shared on social media by followers who were eager to see Drake’s headline performance. The Canadian musician is reportedly seen in the videos celebrating 50 Cent’s birthday at Miami’s Booby Trap on the River.
An unverified claim shares, “The flight that left Bogotá to take Drake to São Paulo was suddenly diverted to Miami. Logistical problems were alleged to be able to perform in Brazil and now this video of him partying with 50 Cent is coming out.”
