Dua Lipa Goes Western for “Love Again” Music Video (Watch)

With the release of her “Love Again” music video, Dua Lipa has officially kicked off Hot Cowgirl Summer.

In the video, Dua rides a mechanical bull in a bikini and a cowboy hat and it’s giving some people … feelings.

Since the “New Rules” singer released Future Nostalgia in March 2020, it’s been the gift that keeps on giving. The album was named the Best Pop Vocal Album of 2021 at the Grammy Awards, and the Brit Awards’ 2021 Best British Album of the Year.

“Love Again,” the eighth track on the album, is notable for its electro and disco influences and dramatic opening trumpet riff sampled from the 1932 song “My Woman” by Lew Stone & the Monseigneur Band, featuring Al Bowlly. An in-depth look at the song’s production is featured in a season two episode of Netflix’s Song Exploder series.

Besides mounting a mechanical bull, the queen of Modeling as Dancing herself sways with rodeo clowns, dons a cow print duster that would make any Gen Z influencer swoon, and whips up some clown makeup of her own.
