The tenth and final episode of the ESPN+ series Man in the Arena: Tom Brady is debuting on April 25, and will be exclusive to the streaming site.
The series follows legendary quarterback Tom Brady, analyzing each and every one of his wins and losses, championships and defeats. The series interviews Brady and a plethora of important figures who played an essential role in his career wins and legacy.
“What is there left to say about working with Tom?” director Gotham Chopra said. “He is a never-ending narrative, but also a never-ending process of self-discovery for me and our creative team at Religion of Sports. Because in Tom’s 23 year (and counting) odyssey, I see threads of all of our stories which is what has made this an amazing project to work on. We used to think of Episode 10 as an epilogue, now – because I know how Tom operates – I realize it’s just a prequel.”
The previous nine episodes are available for streaming via the Disney bundle (either platform of Hulu, Disney+ or ESPN+). However, Episode 10, the finale, will be an ESPN+ exclusive, at least for now. For regular viewers, episodes 1-5 will air on ESPN on Sunday, April 24, from 5-10 p.m. EST. Then, episodes 6-9 will air on Monday, April 25, from 7-11 p.m. EST. Finally, Episode 10 will become available on Monday, April 25 at 11 p.m. EST., on ESPN+.
The series finale will focus on Tom Brady’s departure from the New England Patriots to sunny Tampa, as he became a part of the Buccaneers and won a Super Bowl title with them. He also will reflect on his life outside of football, and the episode will feature interviews with Brady himself, along with his father, Tom Brady Sr., and long-time teammate Rob Gronkowski.
Programming that will accompany Man in the Arena: Tom Brady includes a post-show called Inside the Arena that will air immediately following the conclusion of Episode 10; and After the Arena, a show that will air on the ESPN App and ESPN’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channels on Wednesday evening. Additionally, there is also the “Man in the Arena” podcast which analyzes Brady’s career and other antics. It is produced by the Emmy Award-winning sports media company Religion of Sports, and is available on all major podcast platforms.
