Exclusive: CS4U Attends The 2014 Transformers Fan Experience (@unistudios)

Universal Studios HollywoodHey, CelebSecrets4U readers!

On Friday, June 20th, we had the chance to attend the first Transformers Fan Experience which was hosted at Universal Studios Hollywood in conjunction with the official “BotCon” Convention and the release of Transformers: Age of Extinction. The event consisted of exclusive after hours park access for attendees, which meant they were able to experience all of the park’s rides, including the new Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem and, of course, the amazing Transformers: The Ride- 3D, with almost no wait times.

Aside from having the run of the park, Transformers fans were treated to some up-close-and-personal meet and greets with Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron, who delighted guests with their interactions. Props from Transformers: Age of Extinction could be found outside of Transformers: The Ride-3D, including the Optimus Prime vehicle.

The Special Effects Stage hosted a 3oth Anniversary Celebration with Dinobots, which included a panel with Hasbro’s brand team and inductions into the Transformers Hall of Fame, one of whom was the night’s musical performer, Stan Bush. Bush treated attendees to a late night set at the Blues Brothers stage, and thanked Transformers fans for their support since his song, “The Touch,” premiered in 1986’s Transformers: The Movie. The Transformers Fan Experience made for a fun-filled summer night, and Universal Studios put on a great event for fans to congregate and experience the park and their favorite franchise in a new way.

Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters on Friday, June 27th.
