This Friday we had a chance to attend GBK’s (the luxury lifestyle and events company) Gift Lounge celebrating the MTV Movie Awards nominees and presenters. The event hosted numerous services from beauty products, to gourmet food vendors, to travel destinations, and also featured charitable organizations to the celebs to show support. The luxurious lounge was given an upbeat soundtrack courtesy of DJ Babychino, the world’s youngest DJ. Attendees included George Lopez, Baby Daddy’s Jean Luc-Bilodeau, and Shake it Up’s Kenton Duty.
We had a great time sampling products from the sponsors, including Cookie Connection’s soft and delicious specialty cookies and strawberry Moscato from Viva Diva Wines. We also were shown Jada Toys’ adorable Cutie Pop Dolls, impress Press on Manicure by Broadway Nails, giving guests salon-perfect manicures with their press on nails, and The Headware’s pretty and fashionable hoopscarves.
The featured charities included GUARDaHEART Foundation, which is dedicated to raising awareness of heart disease prevention, and was on hand to give guests complimentary blood testing, Lambda Legal, which fights for equal rights and against bullying for the LGBT community, and the Lopez Foundation, which aims to help underprivileged children and military families.
