World of Dance keeps bringing the heat each Sunday with epic dance battles, and this week’s is no different.
Airing on March 31, this week’s episode showcases the Junior Division’s duel round and Celeb Secrets has your exclusive first look to Funkanometry and Kayla Mak‘s show-stopping routines! Showcasing their incredible athleticism and true talent, the juniors left their all on stage to make it to the next round.
New for season three, the score to get from The Qualifiers to The Duels has been raised from an 80 to an 85, meaning many contestants from past seasons wouldn’t have even made it through the first round this season. In The Duels round, judges have also added a round of Redemption. In this round, the two highest scoring acts that lost their head-to-head routine get one last chance to compete for the final open slot to proceed to the next round in the competition.

World of Dance brings the world’s elite dancers together to compete in epic battles of artistry, precision and athleticism. Solo dancers will compete against duos and crews in an unlimited range of dance, including hip-hop, popping, locking, tap, ballet, break dancing, ballroom, stomping and more.
The panel of star-studded experts — Jennifer Lopez (who also serves as an executive producer), Derek Hough, and NE-YO — score the acts using a precise point system developed by World of Dance, using the following criteria: Performance, Technique, Choreography, Creativity and Presentation. The competition consists of five rounds: Qualifiers, Duels, The Cut, Divisional Final and the World Final. In the first four rounds, dancers only compete within their division, but in the World Final – the winner from each division will compete against each other for the grand prize.
