Jade Eagleson is quickly becoming an international country sensation!
The Ontario native is currently making waves in Canada, the United States and beyond with his one-of-a-kind tunes, ultimately establishing himself as a global country star who is only going up from here 📈
As for how Eagleson got his start in the country music space, he dished to Celeb Secrets host Juliet Schroder in an exclusive interview, “my mom was actually a musician, and on my paternal side my grandpa would sing country songs pretty much every night after chores… I lived with them for a while and I gravitated towards the genre quite quickly.”
His old-school country roots really shine through in his most recent single “Rodeo Queen,” which the budding superstar shared ALL of the details about at this year’s Country Radio Seminar.
“I grew up listening to really old country. I’m talking like 40s, 50s, 60s,” he revealed. “We kind of wanted to implement some of that, and I think back in the day Shania Twain did a really good job of that… putting that Western swing in her music and making it, you know, relevant and modern-sounding.”
“We’re just trying to copy Shania the best we can,” Eagleson concluded with a giggle.
“Rodeo Queen” is unlike anything we have seen from the Canadian cowboy before, and he shared with us the true meaning why…
“I think like for a while we stayed with the more modern stuff just to kind of get our foot in the door,” he admitted. “Now that we’ve got a few songs out, I just wanna really be true to myself in the genre, and ‘Rodeo Queen’ is the right step in that direction.”

Fortunately, the rising country star has a project in the works that we are extremely excited to hear for ourselves.
“Hopefully we’re gonna drop a song every four to eight weeks,” Eagleson gushed. “There’s lots of it coming out all in the same vein, and we’re really excited.”
With this new music, the 28-year-old wants to show listeners “what country music used to be and offer something a little outside of the box,” and we know every release is bound to be a smash hit 🙌
