Getting to Know Jazzy Fauchere – a Canadian Teen Who Is Ready to Make Her Mark in Music

Pop recording artist Jazzy Fauchere has been performing ever since she was eight years old. Now, a sophomore in high school, the teen has been pursuing her love of singing and dancing professionally for the last few years, as she became a member of Canada’s #1 kid’s music group The Mini Pop Kids where she spent some time singing, performing, and touring with the group.

After connecting with her manager, Andrew Balogh, Jazzy began working on her own original music and is now ready to share her sound with the world.

Celeb Secrets caught up with Jazzy (virtually) to hear all about her debut single “White It Out,” which she recently released alongside the accompanying music video. Check out our interview with Jazzy below and don’t forget to let us know what you think of “White It Out” by either leaving a reaction at the bottom of the post or by sending us a tweet at @celebsecrets

You can connect with Jazzy by giving her a follow on Instagram at @jazzyfauchere.

Celeb Secrets: Hello! Thanks for chatting with us. Can you introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about yourself for our readers who may just be discovering you?

Jazzy Fauchere: “Hi! Thank you so much for having me here today! I’m Jazzy Fauchere and I’m going into my sophomore year. I’ve danced since I was three and have been singing ever since I was eight. I love traveling — during my free time I love to hang out with my friends. I live in Toronto but am in the process of moving to Los Angeles, and I love to eat sushi.”

CS: When did you start singing and what inspired you to get into music at such a young age? When did you decide to pursue singing professionally?

JF: “When I was younger, my parents put me and my sister in a musical theatre camp and I had a blast. Then, very soon after, I started to do singing lessons. I was also obsessed with Hannah Montana and Justin Bieber’s movie when I was younger.

I decided to pursue singing professionally when I was in Canada’s #1 kids music group ‘The Mini Pop Kids,’ and we got to record songs in the studio for our albums and make music videos. We also got to do live TV interviews and did a live tour across Canada and a couple of stops in the US.”

CS: Who are some artists you listened to growing up that inspired your sound? How would you describe your current sound to someone hearing your music for the first time?

JF: “When I was younger, my parents loved to listen to Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, and Elton John, so I started getting inspired by such amazing artists from such a young age. Once I started getting older I listened to Madison Beer, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, and Bruno Mars.

If I were to describe my music to someone that’s listened to it for the first time, I would say it’s a mix of pop and R&B, more precisely the type of music that plays on the Top 40 charts. I would also say that my lyrics are meaningful and that all my lyrics come from past experiences in my life.”

CS: What can you tell us about your upcoming original music? What do you hope listeners take away after they hear your single?

JF: “I am super excited to announce that my debut single ‘White it Out’ was just recently released, as well as the music video!

When people hear my song ‘White It Out,’ I want them to relate to the song in their own way. I wrote this song to encourage people that if you have been in a tough situation in the past, White It Out because if you keep thinking about it, you are never going to move on to a better place. I also want them to take away that if they are in a tough situation, they are not alone, and these tough situations only make them stronger.”

CS: Lastly, we are Celeb Secrets. Do you have a secret talent you can share with us?

JF: “The only secret talent coming to mind right now is that I can turn my tongue into a shape of a three-leaf clover!”
