It looks like John Stamos is going to be a grandfather for a little while longer.

Fox recently announced that Grandfathered, starring John Stamos and Josh Peck, has been picked up for a full-series order.

“Grandfathered had the Herculean task of self-starting on what is an incredibly competitive Tuesday night, and the series has proven itself up to the challenge,” David Madden, Fox Entertainment president, said.

For anyone who hasn’t seen the show, Stamos is happily living a bachelor lifestyle when he suddenly finds out he is not only a father, but also a grandfather.

Surprisingly enough, we actually really enjoy the show. We love the dynamic between Peck, Stamos and Paget Brewster who plays Peck’s mom on the show. Of course, it’s a comedy so there are some great jokes thrown in there, but it’s also a feel-good family show.

We’re also excited to see Stamos’ former Full House co-star Dave Coulier and Dr. Phil McGraw guest star on the show!

The series was created, written and executive-produced by Daniel Chun. Other executive producers include Dan Fogelman, Stamos and Chris Koch who also serves as director.
