Dexter fans! Your first look at the new limited series of the crime drama mystery just dropped and it features the man himself, Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) back in action.
The 40-second teaser starts off revealing a snowy landscape and pans out to view a window and, in classic Dexter fashion, there is a reflection in the window of someone’s body wrapped in plastic. Dexter turns around to face the camera to give his signature smirk.
According to TVLine, the series will pick up almost a decade after the very controversial 2013 finale of the show, where Dexter fakes his death and retires to Oregon to live as a lumberjack. The new series will also star Clancy Brown, who will play the unofficial mayor of Iron Lake and antagonist of the show, Kurt Caldwell. Also among the new cast is Julia Jones, Alano Miller, and Jamie Chung.
There is no official release date for the series as of yet, the teaser only reveals that the series will arrive this Fall.
