Gwen Stefani to Receive ‘Hero’ Award at the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards

The lineup just keeps getting bigger and bigger for theÂ 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards!

Taking place on April 30th at the Nokia Theatre @ L.A. Live, music’s biggest event for families will honorÂ Gwen StefaniÂ with the 2016 RDMA “Hero” Award. Stefani is being recognized for the positive impact ha has on fans, inspiring them to do good.

In addition to the Stefani announcement, it was also revealed thatÂ The VoiceÂ season nine winnerÂ Jordan SmithÂ will perform “Stand In The Light” from his debut album as the RDMA Heroes for Change award is presented to two Radio Disney fans, Whitney Stewart and Braeden Mannering, in recognition of their efforts to make a difference in their communities.

TheÂ 2016 Radio Disney Music AwardsÂ airs Sunday, May 1st @ 7PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.
