If you’re looking for a good family drama to add to your list of shows to watch this spring, we highly suggest making Hallmark Channel’s new series RIDE part of your Sunday night plans, as it embodies everything that represents a hard-working family that will do anything for the people and things that they love like their beloved ranch.
Last Sunday (March 26), the western drama had its formal premiere with the first episode, “Legend of the Fall,” and we are already on the edge of our seat counting down the days to see what happens in next week’s episode.
For those who are unfamiliar, the multigenerational family ensemble follows the life of the McMurrays, who are descended from a rodeo dynasty that dates back a generation who strive to maintain their cherished ranch after a difficult tragedy that affects each of them in their own way. Following the sad loss, each character sets out on a empowering journey of self-discovery and transformation who along the way unearth a twisted web of secrets that threatens to rip the family and their little Colorado town asunder.
RIDE stars Nancy Travis as Isabel McMurray; Tiera Skovbye as Missy McMurray; Beau Mirchoff as Cash McMurray; Sara Garcia as Valeria Galindo; Jake Foy as Tuff McMurray; and Tyler Jacob Moore as Gus Booker, whose chemistry altogether shines through your screens evoking a rollercoaster of emotions and genuinely gives us that authentic family-feel.
“We are incredibly close! We have a text thread that we text in like everyday,” Sara told Celeb Secrets on the red carpet at the rodeo-themed premiere in Beverly Hills last Tuesday (March 21). “What you see in a scene is how we are off-screen. We’ll be joking in between takes and keeping the energy alive.”
“None of us lived in Calgary so we were really able to bond that way because we were all in a new city. We only knew each other so it was really fun,” Tiera added.
