After a two year hiatus, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is officially returning to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA!
Taking place over the course of two weekends in April — April 15 – 17 and April 22 – 24, 2022 — the festival will be headlined by Harry Styles on Day One (April 15 & 22), Billie Eilish on Day Two (April 16 & 23) and Kanye “Ye” West (April 17 & 24) on Day Three.
Other performers include a mix of genres such as Doja Cat, Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, Grupo Firme, Karol G, Conan Gray, Banda MS, Nataly Peluso, NIKI, Phoebe Bridgers, Big Sean, Louis The Child, 21 Savage, Giveon, girl in red, Jessie Reyez, FINNEAS, Japanese Breakfast, Carly Rae Jepsen, Chelsea Cutler among others, with Swedish House Mafia making a special appearance along with Head In The Clouds Forever by 88rising.
Although weekend one is already sold out, fans can register now for the weekend two presale and receive a unique code to purchase passes starting Friday, January 14 at 10am PT at coachella.com. Goldenvoice, the promoter for the festival, stresses that the presale does not guarantee pass type, packages or camping.
In January 2020, Coachella revealed their original headliners were Frank Ocean, Rage Against the Machine, and Travis Scott. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, Goldenvoice revealed that the festival would be postponed to October 2020, which eventually wound up being canceled due to a COVID surge. The festival was rescheduled for April 2021 with the same lineup, but unfortunately, COVID saw yet another surge in both Riverside County (where Indio is located) and throughout the US, which forced the festival promoters to cancel the three-day event for a second year in a row.
