Imagine it’s 2023, you’re scrolling through channels and you come across a show starring Selling Sunset star Heather Rae El Moussa and her HGTV veteran husband, Tarek El Moussa.
Can you envision it? Because they can.
“2023? What do you think? A Heather and Tarek show?” The Flipping 101 star asked Celeb Secrets reporter Blakely McHugh at the 2022 MTV Movie and TV Awards – Unscripted.
“That would be a dream,” Heather replied when asked if the couple would have their own show.
While it may not be happening just yet, Heather left her answer open ended saying, “you never know, you can’t predict anything.”
Fans have already seen the two share the screen a handful of times during the last season of the Netflix show Selling Sunset. With both of them in the same industry, it’s only natural they would team up and work together.
“We’ve bought properties together,” The Selling Sunset star said. “I’m learning a lot about flipping with him.”
The Flipping 101 host added, “She’s becoming a real estate investor, flipper [and] speaker.”
The couple first started dating in the summer of 2019, and went Instagram official that August with sweet tributes to one another. One year later, Tarek popped the question in a beautiful beachside proposal, and a year after that, they got married.
Since then, the couple has talked about starting a family, but recently put everything on hold because of health issues.
“I had vocal cord surgery, I fractured my foot, our son– my stepson just had emergency surgery,” Heather explained. “I want to be mentally well, I want to feel very calm before I have a baby.”
Tarek El Moussa has two children with his ex-wife Christina Hall. Together, they share 11-year-old Taylor El Moussa and six-year-old Brayden El Moussa.
At the beginning of May, Brayden was rushed to the hospital and had to undergo an emergency appendectomy.

Heather and Tarek have also been very vocal about adding other children into the mix, saying “we’re working on it.” *wink, wink*
The real estate agent teased she’s really excited about the future and said the couple may have some good news in the future. Tarek added, “it’ll probably happen sooner than later.”
