It’s been a whirlwind of a year for Isabel LaRosa. Showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon, the 20-year-old made her red carpet debut at the 2024 MTV VMAs, performed her first arena show at Audacy’s We Can Survive concert on Saturday (September 28), and will close out 2024 with show-stopping performances on select dates on the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour 2024 presented by Capital One.
Speaking with Celeb Secrets host Juliet Schroder backstage at Audacy’s We Can Survive Concert in Newark, NJ, LaRosa said ahead of her performance, “I’m definitely very nervous but I am so excited. It’s my first time playing an arena. I was sound checking [before and I was like ‘those are a lot of seats.’ I’ve never seen that before, but I am so excited.”
Giving fans a taste of what she did on her U.S. run, the star-in-the-making commanded the stage while singing her catalogue of songs that have over 1 billion streams to date, including her most recent single “Pretty Boy.”
Of her time on the road, Isabel reflects, “The shows have been so incredible. This tour is truly my first solo headline tour, so it’s really crazy to be able to fill rooms that I opened for people in and now I headline them… it’s a really great feeling.”
“I’ve learned that I can’t be overstimulated before I go onstage. Some people need like a lot of people to hype them up… I just need silence and stare at the wall for a second. I’ve learned that throughout playing all these shows,” she continued.
