Olympic Snowboarder Jamie Anderson Shares Her Secret to Keeping Hydrated Skin This Winter

Jamie Anderson is ready to be the winter warrior she truly is no matter what obstacles are ahead of her.

The 30-year-old professional snowboarder is preparing for the cold winter months by partnering with Olay Body to help keep her skin healthy and hydrated as she navigates the upcoming riding season; even with restrictions due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

“Everything’s been shifted, so I’ve just been trying my best to adapt and do things a little bit differently.  I’ve been spending a lot of time in nature — hiking, mountain biking, swimming and surfing, and those are things that thankfully we’ve been able to do during the pandemic,” Anderson tells Celeb Secrets over a Zoom call.

“It’s a little bit hot and cold [with contests] — we’ve had some and then others [have been] cancelled, so its been harder to get into contest mode because there’s so much uncertainty. I have a feeling that a handful will happen and we’ll be able to do our Olympic qualifiers, but if not, I’m powerless over it, so I’m just trying to stay content and happy in my own space despite the things that are out of my power.”

Regardless of whether or not contests will happen, Anderson assures that she’ll still be chasing winter this season, and keeping her skin healthy and hydrated is one of her top priorities.

“The first thing that I have to do is get up and get in the shower. I’ve really been loving the Olay Cleansing and Nourishing Body Wash. It feels really good and I know its made with great ingredients and I have been visibly seeing a difference in my skin. It could be overwhelming, but also taking care of your body from the inside out by drinking a ton of water and trying to eat whole food and high quality things will keep yourself healthy and vibrant, she says.

“I [also] didn’t know that it was really important to start moisturizing while you’re in the shower, and Olay’s Rinse Off Body Conditioner is my new secret and it feels really good.”
