On March 19, Gina Rodriguez and Joe LoCicero welcomed their first child.
Rodriguez and LoCicero keep their relationship very private, besides the occasional Instagram post and red carpets. So, it is no surprise that Rodriguez’s agent has only confirmed to Today the birth of their son. No other details have been released.
According to UsWeekly, the couple originally met in 2016 on the set of Rodriguez show, Jane the Virgin, when LoCicero made an appearance in one episode of the second season.
Rodriguez and LoCicero went red carpet official at the Young Women’s Honors Gala in November of the same year, according to E! News.
The Not Dead Yet actress discussed her relationship in an interview with Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa on their show Live With Kelly and Ryan and revealed the couple had actually not started seeing each other until six months after LoCicero’s appearance on the show.
A year after that interview, Rodriguez confirmed to UsWeekly that she was engaged after posting a picture on vacation with some bling on her left hand.
The two tied the knot in May of 2019 with an intimate wedding – surrounded by their families.
Rodriguez then confirmed her pregnancy on her 38th birthday via Instagram on July 30, 2022 after three years of marriage to Joe.
