Jet Miller and Wyatt Walter Dish on What It’s Like to Work With Comedian Craig Robinson on Their New Show KILLING IT (Watch)

Craig Robinson is “killing it” in Peacock’s new original series, but you may ask what exactly is he killing? To answer your question, he’s killing really big snakes, but he’s certainly not “killing it” trying to make his dreams come true.

Set in Florida, Killing It follows Robinson’s character, Craig, on his quest to make the American dream happen. He needs $20,000 in order to fund his all natural male enhancement supplement start-up using palmetto berries. After facing multiple setbacks – getting fired from his job, setting his car on fire, and getting kicked out of his apartment – the divorced father enlists in a snake killing competition where the top prize is — you guessed it — $20,000.

“If you’ve got a snake phobia, this one is not for you,” Wyatt Walter, who plays Corby, said about the series during an exclusive interview with Celeb Secrets

The cast includes Claudia O’Doherty (“Long Shot”), Rell Battle (“Superior Donuts”), Scott McArthur (“The Righteous Gemstones”), Stephanie Nogueras (“Unfriended: Dark Web”), Wyatt Walter (“The Rookie”) and Jet Miller (“Young Dylan”). Emmy Award winners Dan Goor (“Parks and Recreation”) and Luke Del Tredici (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) are the masterminds behind the scenes, so you know it’s going to be a good one.

It’s an action packed comedy about class, race, capitalism and the hilarious lengths one man will go to “make it.” If you know anything about Robinson, he’s a funny guy. He’s known for his roles This Is The End, Hot Tub Time Machine and even American Dad.

“We took away so many little golden nuggets [from Robinson] other than the fact that he will try to make you laugh. Like that is his goal,” Walter said.

Jet Miller echoed his sentiment, sharing a moment from set. She said there was one time when the crew told Miller all the cameras were on her, and right before they filmed, Robinson called her name and stuck his tongue out. “[His goal was to] try and make me laugh,” she recalled.

It seems as if Robinson’s goal was to also make the younger actors feel included and taken care of. Miller, who is 13 years old, traveled to New Orleans on her own to shoot the series. While her father stayed back home to take care of her other siblings, Robinson and Scott MacArthur stepped in to take her under their wings.

“They’re so nice and they take on a fatherly figure,” Miller said of her co-stars. “Being able to be around somebody who is just genuinely nice and genuinely hilarious, I’m so grateful.”
