We caught up with Jordynne Hahn as she reflected on her 2023 and shared what the future holds. She also dishes on some behind-the-scenes secrets from tour and shares advice for aspiring creators. Celeb Secrets: Hi Jordynne! Thanks for chatting with us. Can you start by introducing yourself and telling our readers a little bit about yourself?
Jordynne Hahn: “Hey everyone! I’m Jordynne! Currently, Im a social media content creator and model. I live about half of my time at home on the east coast and the other half in LA. I truly love what I do and feel very grateful to be working hard at something I’m so passionate about. I’m also completely obsessed with Dunkin iced coffee in the morning every day. My order is a medium caramel ice coffee with 2 creams and 2 Splendas. So yes, I run on Dunkin!!”
CS: When did you start posting on social media and when did you really notice yourself building a following?
JH: “I started posting on social media in early 2021 and noticed the biggest jump in followers and engagement in October of 2022.”
CS: How did you connect with Piper Rockelle and what has it been like being a part of her squad?
JH: “I had been in this business for about 2 months , when Piper had seen my picture on a modeling website and then her team reached out to my Mom asking if they could fly me to LA to be in a YouTube reunion video with Piper And Gavin Magnus. We all really connected before, during and after the shoot. A few months later, Piper and I reconnected at photoshoot in LA and again just completely bonded as friends. In October of 2022, Piper and her team reached out to us again to ask if I would join them in Boston to for some YouTube videos which went really well. After three days of filming, they asked me to perform with the Squad at their show in Boston. I was incredibly grateful for this amazing opportunity and did my best in the show. It went incredibly well thankfully and then Piper and her team asked me to join the Squad permanently. Working with Piper has been an absolute privilege. She is one of the most humble and hard working people I’ve ever met and I consider her to be one of my closest friends ever!”
CS: You’ve accomplished quite a big feat by touring all over the world. What has been your favorite part of the tour? Do you have a favorite city you’ve visited?
JH: “My favorite part of each tour we perform is meeting the fans in real life! The fans are without a doubt the best part is each show and I truly appreciate each and every one of them! That’s a tough one as there are so many great cities we’ve performed in although Melbourne, Australia really stands out for me. This city so vibrant, the people are so kind and considerate and the fans were spectacular with so much positive energy!”
CS: You are also an avid roller skater. When did that passion come about and how do you incorporate it into your content?
JH: “Roller skating has been a huge part of my life since early in 2020. My local rink has a ton of great skaters who have become really close friends of mine. The owner of my local rink, Jason, has been incredibly supportive of my career and lets me film content there when they are closed so I’m not interrupted. I am super thankful for his support and absolutely love roller skating! I’m currently sponsored by Vanilla Skates which honestly are the best skates ever!”
CS: Looking back on 2023, what are a couple highlights for you and what are you most looking forward to in 2024?
JH: “Looking back at 2023 is truly a privilege for me. So many incredible opportunities have presented themselves, especially joining the Squad and going on a global tour with them. 2024 is going to be amazing! I look forward to continuing to grow my followers and subscribers on all platforms and looking into some other opportunities so please follow me and stay tuned!!”
CS: What advice would you give to aspiring creators who want to break into the industry?
JH: “Constantly and consistently creating content and engaging your audience. Be positive and encouraging while always recognizing your followers and subscribers.”
CS: Lastly, we are Celeb Secrets. Do you have any secrets from the tour that you can share with us?
JH: “Absolutely, so at every tour city stop all of us in the Squad are totally obsessed with getting a Starbucks Mug to add to our ever growing collection. It helps to remind each of us of the city and fans we were able to see and meet. It’s honestly crazy how many Starbucks mugs we’ve collected this year and I love every one of them!!”
