Kane Brown is headed to the PCCAs!
The award-winning musician has been chosen to receive the Country Champion Award at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards, NBC and Peacock revealed today (September 6). Brown will be honored for his passion for service and groundbreaking contributions to the country music industry and beyond and is the second person to receive the prestigious award, as Wynonna Judd was the inaugural recipient back in 2023.
“Since the beginning of his career, Kane Brown has ensured that his legacy will extend beyond music,” said Jen Neal, Executive Vice President, Live Events and Specials, NBCUniversal Entertainment. “His dedication to empowering and supporting younger generations is nothing short of inspiring, and we’re thrilled to honor him with the Country Champion Award.”
Recently, NBC and Peacock revealed the finalists for the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards in 18 categories, with artists like Zach Bryan, Beyoncé, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll and Shaboozey receiving multiple nominations. Miranda Lambert has also been chosen to receive the Country Icon Award at the show.
While voting for the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards has officially closed, you can see if your favorites take home a trophy by watching the show, hosted by Shania Twain on Thursday, September 26th from the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville @ 8PM ET/PT on NBC and Peacock.
