Pop singer Katy Perry and supermodel Miranda Kerr met up on Instagram Live where they spilled the tea on Kerr’s newest skin product and their insights on motherhood. The only twist is they both have kids with the same man!
Ever since 2016, Perry has been in a committed relationship with actor Orlando Bloom and they have a child together. But long before that, Bloom was actually married to Kerr which makes this a unique Instagram moment. While we may be conditioned to think two women can’t get along after dating the same guy, Perry and Kerr totally smash sexist standards!
In the live video, Perry opens up about her adoration for Kerr’s latest turmeric glow moisturizer from Kora Organics. She describes the product as her “secret trick” and even claims it “changed my life.”
Most importantly, Perry and Kerr clearly support each other as mothers and as people. Rather than feuding over their complicated love lives, the two stars bond over their shared passion for kids.
Perry admits she was conflated when it came time to start a family in her romance with Bloom. Despite the initial uncertainty, she reveals “I’m so glad I didn’t miss out on that opportunity.” While tears seemingly well up in her eyes, she adds that motherhood has “been the best thing.”

With three boys to look after, Kerr definitely doesn’t have things easy at home. “It’s wild,” she explains. However, even in the midst of an occasionally chaotic household, Kerr still manages to feel truly blessed.
“I still pinch myself. I feel so lucky to be a mom. It’s just the best,” she dishes while Perry marvels over her exceptional time management skills.
Jokingly, Perry teases that she honestly doesn’t know how Kerr even manages to sleep on top of having such a fulfilling career. She hilariously points out that having two kids can sometimes feel like dealing with a zoo of 200 young ones, so coping with three is just remarkable.
At the end of the heartwarming conversation, Perry and Kerr share their love once again before signing off from the gram. “I love you. We better get back to our kids I guess,” says Kerr as she ends the video and heads back to her three crazy boys.
