The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived — Kevin Quinn‘s EP is officially out for the world to hear!
The standout talent has come a long way from his days as Xander on Disney Channel’s BUNK’D. The now 24-year-old has been putting his music career in the front seat with It’s About Time EP, which he spoke to Celeb Secrets all about in a new interview.
“I’m a firm believer that there is a time and place for everything, and this EP just feels like it’s time,” Quinn tells Celeb Secrets host Juliet Schroder. “It’s been a long time coming. Each song has kind of lived on its own at this point as a single, so being able to put them all together, along with [‘It’s About Time’], which I think they’re gonna to love.”

The five-song studio record features Quinn’s 2021 hit tracks “Wildfire,” “I’m Still Breathing,” “Over and Over Again,” and “Fuego En Mi Interior,” along with the title track and lead single “It’s About Time.” According to his team, It’s About Time offers a holistic introduction to his style and perspective, highlighting his knack for intimate storytelling. Through rich vocals and deeply personal songwriting, Quinn’s lyrics strike a unique balance between growth and vulnerability, as he carries listeners along his journey as a young adult, while giving hope for the future.
“I chose each one because I believed in these songs so much,” Quinn shares. “I wanted to make sure that these really are the songs that I wanna put out there, so that’s how I approached this new EP.”
Blending his pop roots with his strong beliefs in his Faith, Kevin hopes that all listeners — both young and old — can enjoy and relate to his music as he finds himself dabbling into the Christian genre.
“I love that question… This is a crossover project. That’s kind of how we did it by design. When my manager and I first met the team at Capitol, we had pitched it as that. I come from mainstream world, I work as an actor as well, and I was doing somewhat mainstream music before that. I also live and breathe faith, and my relationship with Jesus is probably the most important relationship in my life besides, you know, people who are close to me,” he says.
“My goal is to make music from my heart that inspires people, no matter what genre they listen to. That’s all I cared to do. And so far we’re accomplishing that and we’re gonna continue to do that.”

Fans can hear Kevin perform the new songs live on the Winter Jam 2022 Tour, as the budding artist is a special guest on the 41-date run.
“Winter Jam is pretty much the Christian music industry’s biggest event. You would not believe the turnout that we get for these shows. It’s an exceptional turnout, mind you, the pandemic and some icy conditions since, you know, it’s Winter Jam,” Kevin laughs. “The arenas are just jam-packed. I did the show in 2020 to promote the ‘A Week Away’ musical on Netflix that I was doing, but this time, I’m back out on the road as an artist for the first time and it feels better now that I know the hang of how the tour works.”
“Its probably one of my favorite shows to do, just because it’s so unique,” he adds. “It takes some of the most compelling Christian artists and puts them into one show, you know, and they’re also unique in their sound. I’m in good company.”
