Kim Kardashian cried tears of joy after Kanye “Ye” West gifted her sex tape hours before she took the stage on Saturday Night Live.
Fans were finally able to see the moment West gave Kardashian her sex tape on last night’s episode of The Kardashians. Leading up to her time on SNL, a rumor began circulating that there was unreleased footage of Kardashian’s 20007 sex tape with ex-boyfriend Ray J.
Kardashian, who shares four children with West, was terrified that once again she would have to relive the nightmare of her sex tape being public. When preparing for SNL, Kardashian gave West a call where she broke down in tears over the tape.
As Kardashian took off to New York for SNL, she mentally accepted whatever would come with the supposed “new footage.” Hours before Kardashian was going to take the stage for the show, she called Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian to her hotel room and asked for there to be cameras.
West, who was in the room, told Jenner he flew back to Los Angeles last night to retrieve the gift for Kardashian. That’s when the SKIMS founder unzipped the luggage bag to show the hard drive and entire computer that her sex tape was stored on.
As Kardashian got emotional, she shared, “I know Kanye did this for me, but he also did this for my kids.”
Kardashian revealed she did watch the tape and there was no new footage from that night beside them being out on the town. With the relief that she got her sex tape back, Kardashian was able to host SNL and crush her performance.
